Volleyball Recap: Three Rivers' Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Three Rivers entered their tilt with Otsego on Thursday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win didn't come easy: Otsego scored at least 19 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-19, 15-25, 25-23, 25-23.

London Hoffmaster paced Three Rivers' offense, picking up 14 kills. Hoffmaster got some help from Miley Southland and her 41 assists. Allie Yost controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Three Rivers' victory bumped their record up to 12-7-1. As for Otsego, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-2.

Coming up, Three Rivers will be playing at home against Comstock Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, Otsego and Niles will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
