Soccer Recap: Armstrong Takes a Loss

Armstrong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost 9-1 to the Mars Fightin' Planets. The game snapped a strange streak: the last four times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Armstrong's goal came courtesy of Finnley Kidder, who's now up to seven this season.

Armstrong's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Mars, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Armstrong will challenge rival Kiski Area at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mars is set to face off against their familiar foe Shaler Area at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
