Baseball Recap: Cornerstone Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Salim Abdul-Nabi put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in hits (four). He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other pitching news, Cornerstone Charter Academy got a good showing from Noah Ewing, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave Ewing a new career-low.

Back at the plate, Efrain Rivera was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February.
