Basketball Recap: Portage's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Portage's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Lodi Blue Devils as the Portage Warriors made off with a 69-45 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Warriors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 429th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 84th).

With the victory, Portage broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-11. As for Lodi, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-4 record.

Portage is taking a road trip to challenge Baraboo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lodi has already played their next game (against Lake Mills), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
