Recap: Ridgeland vs. Olive Branch
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Ridgeland Titans had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Conquistadors onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. That's two games straight that Ridgeland has won by exactly one goal.
Their one-goal win came courtesy of
Jose Pinto Marquez, who's now up to 14 this season.
Ridgeland is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3-6 record this season. As for Olive Branch, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-14-2.
Ridgeland will square off against Center Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Ridgeland's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Olive Branch does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
