Softball Recap: Tallassee Comes Up Short

Tallassee lost against Prattville Christian Academy two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 8-3 to the Panthers. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tallassee's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 29-6 record this season.

Tallassee will head out on the road to square off against Sylacauga at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Aggies will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prattville Christian Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Presbyterian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
