Football Recap: Dodge County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

After flying high against Central last Friday, Dodge County came back down to earth. The Indians fell 20-15 to the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons on Friday. The game was a 3-3 toss-up at halftime, but the Indians couldn't quite close it out.

Academy for Classical Education's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryson Vincent led the charge by rushing for 101 yards and one score. Vincent is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 101 every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Dodge County fell to 2-1. As for Academy for Classical Education, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Dodge County will take on Vidalia at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Academy for Classical Education, they will host Wilkinson County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
