Trinity won the last time they faced Weed and things went their way on Friday too. The Wolves were the clear victors by a 12-6 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Brynn Sommerfeld made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March of 2025. She was also solid in the batter's box, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases.

In other batting news, Trinity got a massive performance out of Adriana Seele, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Seele has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played. Hallee Prather was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
