Basketball Recap: Mcalester Snaps 11-Game Streak of Losses at Home

McAlester had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down the Riverside Indian Braves 73-55 on Friday.

Despite the defeat, Riverside Indian had strong showings from Daniel Creepingbear, who posted 20 points, and Devin Bert, who put up 19 points. The contest was Creepingbear's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Christian Dobson was another key player, putting up seven points.

McAlester's win ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-3. As for Riverside Indian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

McAlester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 72-47 victory against Glenpool on the 14th. Riverside Indian has also already played their next game, a 66-54 win against Varsity Opponent on the 14th.
