Eugene had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top against the Canton Tigers by a score of 72-61 on Thursday. The victory was familiar territory for the Eagles, who have now won 18 games in a row.

Despite the loss, Canton still got an impressive performance from Preston Brewer, who almost dropped a double-double with 30 points and nine boards. The match was Brewer's eighth in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Oliver, who posted ten points.

Eugene's win bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Canton, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 25-6 record.
