Soccer Recap: New Milford Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Milford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Newtown Nighthawks. While losing is never fun, New Milford can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut soccer rankings (they are ranked 48th, while Newtown are ranked sixth).

New Milford's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Newtown, they pushed their record up to 6-1-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, New Milford will head out on the road to take on New Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newtown, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Joel Barlow at 6:00 p.m.
