Basketball Recap: Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] Wildcats opened the new year with a less-than-successful 50-38 defeat to Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie]. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Benson County [Leeds/Maddock]'s loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie], the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Drayton/Valley-Edinburg the next time they take the court. Nelson County co-op [Lakota/Dakota Prairie] will head out to face Drayton/Valley-Edinburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Benson County [Leeds/Maddock] will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on January 13th.
