Stratford and Fort Dorchester are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Stratford Knights will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on the Fort Dorchester Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Swamp Foxes are ranked 11th).

Fort Dorchester is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Wando just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-0.

Fort Dorchester's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Stratford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
