Basketball Game Preview: Peak to Peak Pumas vs. Denver Christian Thunder

The Peak to Peak Pumas will challenge the Denver Christian Thunder at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Peak to Peak comes in on five and Denver Christian on ten.

On Tuesday, Peak to Peak earned a 38-27 victory over St. Mary's Academy.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Denver Christian beat Jefferson Academy 36-32 on Tuesday. The 36-point effort marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Peak to Peak is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.5 points. As for Denver Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.
