Basketball Recap: Montfort Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Montfort Academy and St. Saviour squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Montfort Academy had to settle for second. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Saviour Panda Bears. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Panda Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Despite the defeat, Montfort Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Tafadzwa Ruvando posted 11 points.

Montfort Academy now has a losing record of 9-10. As for St. Saviour, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

As of now, neither Montfort Academy nor St. Saviour have any future games scheduled.
