Volleyball Recap: Elbert County Comes Up Short

Elbert County lost against Hart County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Blue Devils fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs.

While Elbert County was not able to win a set, they sure kept things interesting: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23.

Among those leading the charge was Ashton King, who had 12 digs and two assists. Those 12 digs gave her a new career-high.

Elbert County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Hart County, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Elbert County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Monsignor Donovan Catholic on the 13th. As for Hart County, they will challenge Athens Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
