 South Portland put another one in the bag  on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  17-4 margin over the Westbrook Blue Blazes. South Portland might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won five contests by nine  runs or more this season.
  Baylie Littlefield made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  pitched four innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. Littlefield was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all three of her plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Rachel DiMauro was a standout: she scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Ella Nickerson, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 On Westbrook's side,  Haley Ball was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 2-for-3 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run.  Emma Boulette was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 South Portland's victory was  their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Westbrook, they are  on  a  five-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-8.
 South Portland will head out on the road to  face off against  Massabesic at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
