Volleyball Recap: Prince Avenue Christian Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Prince Avenue Christian lost to Eastside back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Wolverines walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles.

Prince Avenue Christian not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Eastside to exactly 21 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Prince Avenue Christian's offense was headlined by Reese Foster and Emma Philo, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Ava Johnson and her 18 assists. Foster was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Prince Avenue Christian's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1. As for Eastside, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coincidentally, Prince Avenue Christian and Eastside will both be playing Shiloh the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Generals at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Eagles will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
