Jacksonville won the last time they faced D.H. Conley, and Ra-Shawn Echols did his part to make sure it happened again. The Jacksonville Cardinals pulled ahead with a 58-57 photo finish over the D.H. Conley Vikings on Thursday thanks in part to Echols, who went 7 of 14 on his way to 16 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. He has been hot, having posted 15 or more points the last five times he's played.
Despite the defeat, D.H. Conley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Cayden Hill went 7 of 11 on his way to 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Khaliq Boston, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points and seven rebounds.
