Volleyball Recap: North Crowley Victorious

It was a proper cat-fight when North Crowley duked it out with Horn on Thursday. The Panthers came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Crowley was: they took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-12.

Brooklyn Peoples paced North Crowley's offense, picking up nine kills. Peoples got some help from Abrielle Johnson and her 11 assists. Johnson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

North Crowley's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Horn, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

North Crowley has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Walnut Grove on the 14th. As for Horn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Lewisville on the 16th.
