Volleyball Recap: Morgan Victorious

Morgan's tournament run continued when they took on Northridge on Friday. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Knights 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Kevin Wangsgard paced Morgan's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wangsgard got some help from Joshua DeMond and his 24 assists. Finally, DeMond was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Despite the loss, Northridge still got an impressive performance from Mirko Wisniowski, who had 11 digs.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Northridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record this season.

Morgan has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hillcrest on the 25th. As for Northridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sky View on the 25th.
