Basketball Recap: Lewis Mills Comes Up Short

Lewis Mills lost against Northwest Catholic back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lewis Mills Spartans lost 59-33 to the Northwest Catholic Lions. While losing is never fun, the Spartans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Connecticut basketball rankings (they are ranked 57th, while the Lions are ranked fifth).

Lewis Mills' loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Northwest Catholic, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-2.

As of now, neither Lewis Mills nor Northwest Catholic have any future games scheduled.
