Riley County scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 72-65 to the Nemaha Central Thunder. Even though they lost, the Falcons' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.1 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Riley County's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Harmison, who posted 13 points and seven assists. Another player making a difference was Trey Webber, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 18 points.
