Baseball Recap: Timothy Christian Comes Up Short

Timothy Christian lost against Wheaton Academy last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 6-3 to the Warriors. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Timothy Christian saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Bullard, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Timothy Christian's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Wheaton Academy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Timothy Christian will venture away from home to square off against Chicago Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wheaton Academy, they will head out to take on Bishop McNamara at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Fightin' Irish's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
