Soccer Recap: Hickman Comes Up Short

Hickman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Marshall Owls, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Hickman can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Marshall are ranked 32nd).

Hickman's defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Marshall, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Hickman will face off against Helias at 6:40 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Marshall, they will square off against Warrensburg at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
