Basketball Game Preview: Camelback Spartans vs. Cibola Raiders

The Camelback Spartans will face off against the Cibola Raiders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Camelback is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Camelback saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 38-27 hit to the loss column at the hands of Queen Creek.

Camelback's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Lilly Buckner, who posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals, and Carissa Curley, who earned three points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance gave Curley a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyliana Massey, who had seven points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Cibola was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 55-51 to Mica Mountain.

Camelback's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Cibola, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
