Baseball Recap: Plainview Comes Up Short

Plainview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-5 to the Sardis Lions, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-5 on Thursday.

Plainview now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Sardis, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Plainview has already played their next matchup, a 7-6 victory against Good Hope on the 28th. As for Sardis, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 13-0 win against Glencoe on the 28th.
