Basketball Game Preview: Wakpala Sioux vs. Marty Indian Braves

The Wakpala Sioux will square off against the Marty Indian Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Wakpala is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 10, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against Timber Lake, falling 62-36. The Sioux have struggled against the Panthers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Marty Indian was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 69-63 to Crazy Horse.

Marty Indian's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 4-3. As for Wakpala, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
