Volleyball Recap: Sumner Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Sumner lost against Bloomingdale back in August of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Stingrays lost 3-0 to the Bulls. The Stingrays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-13.

Nahya Torres paced Sumner's offense, picking up eight kills. Torres got some help from Victoria Benitez and her 14 assists. Benitez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sumner's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Bloomingdale, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Sumner does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bloomingdale, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Bay at 7:30 p.m.
