Softball Recap: Bulkeley Comes Up Short

The Bulkeley Bulldogs came up short against the Academy of Science and Innovation Ravens on Monday, falling 32-6.

Bulkeley saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Arlianis Lopez, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Zorangely Molina was another, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

Bulkeley's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Bulkeley will take on rival Civic Leadership at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Academy of Science and Innovation is set to square off against their familiar foe Hartford Public at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
