South Gray put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by the Satanta Indians to the tune of 87-19. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while the Indians are ranked 286th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Gray got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kylie Stapleton out in front who went 7 for 14 en route to 18 points and seven boards. Stapleton continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Allie Reed was another key player, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

South Gray was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Satanta still got an impressive performance from Yahaira Puerto, who posted 14 points and eight boards. That was a full 73.7% of Satanta's points, marking the ninth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points.

South Gray's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. As for Satanta, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

South Gray has already played their next matchup, a 67-32 win against Kiowa County on the 14th. Satanta has also already played their next game (against South Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
