Soccer Recap: Taos Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Taos was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They fell just short of the Los Alamos Hilltoppers by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Taos couldn't quite close it out.

Taos now has a losing record of 7-8-1. As for Los Alamos, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Taos will face off against rival Moriarty at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Los Alamos is set to square off against their familiar foe Pojoaque Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
