While Rolling Meadows's win against Wheeling wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 5-3. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats on Monday, too.

Cam Wachtel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Ryan Schneider, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Will Ciccone was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

The win made it two in a row for Rolling Meadows and bumps their season record up to 18-8.
