Soccer Recap: Summit Charter Finds Home Pitch Redemption Against Swain County

There's no place like home for Summit Charter, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Swain County Maroon Devils a 6-0 shutout on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for Summit Charter: when they faced off against Swain County back in September, they had to take a 1-0 defeat.

Summit Charter now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Swain County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Charter will challenge Blue Ridge Early College at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Swain County, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Murphy at 6:00 p.m. Murphy will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Swain County surely won't give up without a fight.
