Softball Recap: Desert Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Desert Christian Academy was the 13-2 winner over Hamilton when they last played one another back in March of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Conquerors came up short against the Bobcats on Friday, falling 13-3. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madison Stroud made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. Another player making a difference was Savannah Hunt, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Desert Christian Academy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Hamilton, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Desert Christian Academy will head out to take on Santa Rosa Academy at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Hamilton, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Sherman Indian at 3:30 p.m. on the 11th.
