Basketball Recap: Carbondale Has No Trouble Against Salem

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Centralia, Carbondale was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They took down the Salem Wildcats 43-24. The win continues a trend for the Terriers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Salem's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah Nix, who posted 12 points and seven rebounds.

Carbondale's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Salem, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-23.

Carbondale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 53-36 defeat against Mt. Vernon on the 26th. Salem does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
