Recap: Siloam Springs vs. Benton

Benton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season on Friday. They were fully in charge, breezing past Siloam Springs 55-14. That's another feather in the cap for Benton, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

The match started off well for Benton, whose offense put up 48 first-half points. Siloam Springs countered with 14 points, leaving the score at 48-14 going into the half. The Benton defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped Benton's record up to 4-1. The defeat dropped Siloam Springs' record to 4-2.

Next week Benton take on Hall at 7:00 PM. Benton are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Hall are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. As for Siloam Springs, they will face off against Greenwood. Siloam Springs have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Greenwood are surely hoping to exploit.
