Volleyball Recap: Sylacauga Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sylacauga can now relate to. They came up short against the Faith Academy Rams on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Aggies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Faith Academy found their leader in sophomore Kyleigh Grosz, who had 19 digs and two assists.

Sylacauga now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Faith Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-11 record this season.

Sylacauga does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Faith Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Andalusia on the 22nd.
