Basketball Game Preview: Jacksboro Tigers vs. Holliday Eagles

Jacksboro is 2-8 against Holliday since December of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jacksboro Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Holliday Eagles at 6:00 p.m.

Last Tuesday, Jacksboro came up short against City View and fell 58-46.

Meanwhile, Holliday entered their tilt with Iowa Park on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 51-44.

Holliday is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-13 record this season. As for Jacksboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-8.

Jacksboro lost to Holliday on the road by a decisive 58-39 margin in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Jacksboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
