Volleyball Recap: St. Augustine Catholic Comes Up Short

St. Augustine Catholic managed to slip by Pusch Ridge Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Lions on Thursday. The Wolves were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 2-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-18, 25-16.

St. Augustine Catholic has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Pusch Ridge Christian Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-6.

Coincidentally, St. Augustine Catholic and Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will both be playing Andrada Polytechnic the next time they take the court. The Lions will host the Mavericks at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Wolves will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
