Volleyball Recap: Strasburg Takes a Loss

After flying high against Stonewall Jackson last Thursday, Strasburg came back down to earth. The Rams lost 3-0 to the Madison County Mountaineers on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mountaineers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Strasburg has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Madison County, they pushed their record up to 12-6 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Strasburg will challenge rival Clarke County at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Madison County is set to square off against their familiar foe Page County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
