Volleyball Recap: Cibola Takes a Loss

After flying high against Farmington on Tuesday, Cibola came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Volcano Vista Hawks on Thursday. The Cougars were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hawks earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-12.

Cibola moved to 12-11 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Volcano Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Cibola nor Volcano Vista have any future games scheduled.
