Suggested Video

Bloomington had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-8 to make it six. They came up short against the Ganado Indians, falling 19-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 27-0 back in March.

As for Ganado, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won eight matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

For Ganado's part, Luke Reid and Ayden Tudyk were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Reid pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Tudyk pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Reid also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Ganado is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-9-1 otherwise. At the plate, Reid went a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double, while Tudyk got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, Austen Pena was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Ganado: the team is 5-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-9-1 otherwise. Bryce Ullman was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base.

As of now, neither Bloomington nor Ganado have any future games scheduled.
