Baseball Recap: Fort Bend Kempner Takes a Loss

Fort Bend Kempner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings, falling 13-2. One positive for the Cougars, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Alex Lara was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Zach Zimmerman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
