Basketball Recap: Fellowship Christian Drops Highest Score of Season Against Lakeside

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fellowship Christian). They enjoyed a cozy 63-47 victory over the Lakeside Vikings on Saturday.

Lakeside's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Mosley, who posted ten points. Mosley has also also been stellar as far as field goal percentage is concerned: he's posted one of at least 53% every time he's hit the court this season. Another player making a difference was Tommy Vento, who had ten points.

Fellowship Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Lakeside, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fellowship Christian will face off against Business Engineering Science Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Paladins their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Stone Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
