Softball Recap: Tri-Central Comes Up Short

Monday just wasn't the day for Tri-Central's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Carroll Cougars on Monday. The Trojans have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Tri-Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Carroll, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Tri-Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-5 loss against Eastern on the 20th. As for Carroll, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 8-6 defeat against Clinton Prairie on the 20th.
