Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Xavier

Xavier had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Howards Grove Tigers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.

Lily Renz paced Xavier's offense, picking up seven kills. Renz got some help from Sydney Neilitz and her 23 assists. Neilitz was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Xavier's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Howards Grove, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Xavier and Howards Grove will both be playing Fox Valley Lutheran the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Foxes at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Hawks will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
