Creekside Christian Academy posted their biggest victory yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Calvary Christian 89-38 at home. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-20.
It was another big night for Cedric Taylor, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds and four blocks. Another player making a difference was Kelton Teasley, who scored 12 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Furtah Prep can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 96-50 victory over Notre Dame Academy. Winning may never get old, but Furtah Prep sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
The victory makes it two in a row for Creekside Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 13-8. As for Furtah Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.
Creekside Christian Academy beat Furtah Prep 66-54 in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. The rematch might be a little tougher for Creekside Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
