Softball Game Preview: Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals vs. Kennedy Crusaders

The Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals will face off against the Kennedy Crusaders at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Blue Island Eisenhower's offense. They came up short against Argo on Tuesday, falling 7-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Kennedy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 13-6 to Payton College Prep.

Jaida Rebolledo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Gisella Lopez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 14-6-1. As for Blue Island Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-16.
