Basketball Game Preview: Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees vs. North Royalton Bears

The Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees will face off against the North Royalton Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Brecksville-Broadview Heights comes in on five and North Royalton on six.

Last Saturday, Brecksville-Broadview Heights made easy work of Norwayne and carried off a 64-40 win. The Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Royalton). They took down Berea-Midpark 91-74 on Friday. Given the Bears' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Titans are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Royalton pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Brecksville-Broadview Heights, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Brecksville-Broadview Heights came out on top in a nail-biter against North Royalton when the teams last played back in February, sneaking past 44-41.
